Pressured up after putting in. Took back off and relived pressure since the water was not coming out. Put back in and it worked. Water is good.

This Brita filter works great with my Maytag wide-by-side fridge. It's easy to install and the water tastes much better right away.

The filter did not last nearly as long as the manufactures filters. The filter also slowed water flow. It takes twice as long to fill a glass as it used to. I'm switching back to the manufacturers. They are worth paying the extra money for (even if they are grossly over priced).

These filters work as well as the original filters for about half the price of the originals, Brita is a name you can usually trust, these filters work fine, water tastes great.

I think the title says it all. Seemed a little tint bit loose but worked fine, didn't leak. I even put a paper towel under it just to make sure but it stayed dry!
So save yourself a few dollars and don't buy the Maytag filter.
